Baby Shower Corsages
"Themes for Baby Shower" is a site dedicated to all sorts of baby shower theme ideas, from gifts to activities and decorations.I know baby shower corsages aren’t really a baby shower theme. But, it is an extra special touch that can go a long way to enhancing any theme that you choose. The whole point of the day is to make the mom-to-be feel as important and honored as possible. What better way than the best of all homemade baby shower favors to set her apart from the rest of the guests?
If you want more ideas than my fingers can type here, then you’re in luck. Click here for the kit you need to throw the absolutely perfect shower.
These can also be used to honor other important people at the shower, such as grandmas-to-be, aunties-to-be or anyone else that the mom-to-be wants to stand out. You can even create one for yourself or your co-host, if you like.
The type of corsage you choose depends on the type of shower you are hosting. A fresh flower corsage is always nice. But, if you are looking for something as a keepsake, there are a few other cute ideas made out of simple baby items. You can also include these ideas along with other homemade baby shower favors for your guests – just be sure the new mom’s is the best one there!

Fresh Flower Corsage
Materials Needed:
- Fresh flowers of your choice
- Baby’s breath
- Greenery
- Floral tape
- Ribbon (in coordinating color)
- Safety Pin
First, choose the color of the flowers. You can either choose a traditional pink or blue, or go with the colors of the shower. Whether you use flowers from a florist or flowers from your garden, you want the stems about three inches. Take each individual flower and add some baby’s breath and greenery to the stem and wrap with the floral tape. Tie them all together by adding additional floral tape. Use some of the ribbon to wrap and hide the floral tape. Another ribbon will be added to the top of the stems and finished with a fancy bow. (To make the corsage personal, order ribbon with the mom’s name and date of shower printed on it.) Finally, add a safety pin to each corsage. (Remind mom that she can dry this corsage for a special keepsake of the shower.)
Baby Socks Corsage
Materials Needed:
- 1-2 pairs of baby socks. (You can coordinate with the theme or with the sex of the baby.)
- Floral Wire
- Thin ribbon
- 8X8″ square of tulle
- Diaper pin or safety pin
Lay socks together so they are the same direction. Bundle the socks tightly together about 1/3 of the way up from the toes with the floral wire. Take the tulle and gather it around the toe portion of the bundled socks. Use your ribbon to tie the tulle tightly around the bottom area near the toe area of the socks directly over the wire, leaving ribbon “tails.” Use the diaper pin or safety pin to attach the corsage.
Pacifier Corsage
Materials Needed:
- Pacifiers
- Lace
- Coordinating ribbon
- Hot glue gun
- Diaper or safety pin
Trim the pacifiers with lace using the hot glue gun. Attach the pacifiers together with your glue gun, or ribbon forming a circle. Glue the diaper or safety pin to the back of the “corsage”.
I hope you will have fun making any or all of these baby shower corsages. I know the mom-to-be will appreciate your hard work to make her feel special and stand out on her day. If you do make other homemade baby shower favors, just be sure that mom’s is the best of the best.
